Project Summary

For this brand identity refresh, the challenge was to balance commerce with creativity—creating a visual language that felt both structured and experimental. The previous logo was a simple font, lacking the distinctiveness the brand needed. Through workshops and collaboration, we established a direction that juxtaposed clean, contemporary design with a subtle sense of disruption. The new logo embraces this tension, pairing a refined typeface with a slight glitch effect to symbolise the push and pull between order and expression. A primarily black-and-white palette ensures sophistication, while soft cream tones add warmth, and bold red accents inject energy.

Typography played a crucial role in reinforcing the brand’s personality, with serif headlines bringing a sense of heritage and authority, while sans-serif body text ensured clarity and modernity. A key highlight of the identity is the brand icon—a static, glitched ‘C’—which became a striking and memorable mark. The result is a brand system that is polished yet dynamic, providing a strong foundation for future growth while capturing the brand’s essence.
