Project Summary
Nüdel creates deconstructable mobile play carts that transform any space into a creative, loose-parts playground for children aged 1-12.
From 2018 to 2021, I served as the Design Team Lead and later as Head of Design, overseeing all aspects of design, from branding and product development to photography and website creation. We launched the first product, the Nüdel Kart in 2019, followed by the Nüdel Rover in 2021 and the Nüdel Pod in 2024.
Our biggest challenge was designing products that would spark curiosity in children, encouraging them to ask, 'What can I do with this?' The possibilities truly are endless.

In 2018, I led a team to Lebanon to produce the first Nüdel Kart prototype. We conducted testing within refugee camps, and the entire process was documented, resulting in a full-length documentary.

Nüdel Kart – 2019
Led the design and launch of a highly acclaimed mobile play cart that has been adopted by numerous schools and communities, fostering creative play for children.
Nüdel Rover – 2021
Expanded the product line with a more versatile cart, receiving positive feedback for its adaptability and innovation in play spaces primarily with Occupational Therapists.
Brand Development
Established a strong, recognisable brand identity for Nüdel, making it synonymous with creativity and innovative play solutions. Building an adaptable system to grow the product range while maintaining the brand integrity.
User Engagement & Feedback
Designed products that successfully sparked curiosity in children, as evidenced by user testimonials and repeated use in educational settings. The designs encouraged children to engage with the play carts in unique and imaginative ways.
